in or near camden? stop by elixir - I stopped off at Elixir Bar after getting off the tube at Mornington Crescent a couple weeks ago. I was a little hungry and their food menu didn't offer anything over ten quid. I ordered a burger, amazing! Elixir bakes their burger buns fresh every day. Just for the bread alone this place is worth a stop, and the burger itself ended up being excellent as well.

Beer was cheap at Elixir too. Came for happy hour and everything on draft was around 3 quid. Servers are efficient, didn't have to wait for my drink or food long at all.

Plus the place is just really comfortable to hang out in - dark red walls, wooden table, and a heated outdoor seating area.

Apparently Elixir offers regular live music nights too! I can’t wait to go back again. 01-12-09
