Yes, how wrong can you be?
I have read with interest the review relating to a male at Halcyon Days and yes, how wrong this review is. No self respecting business would be happy to accept long appointments, tying up staff for a client who may or may not turn up. Sadly this is what businesses have to do to try and ensure thier clients keep their appointments. Also, I would expect to put down a deposit on expensive procedures and have done so at many previous salons.
I have not had any appointments with the male mentioned in the review, but have spoken to him quite a few tinmes and have found him polite and relaxed. Not at all how the person in the review below mentions.
I have been going to Halcyon Days for quite a while now. I dreaded it because I needed to deal with a problem area that I felt really awkward about. The staff at Halcyon Days really put me at ease and I have to admit that their politeness and professionalism put me at ease from the word go. Personally, I find that going to a beauty salon and finding the staff looking so slim, so attractive etc.etc., does make me feel a bit of the "odd woman out". Don't get me wrong, the staff at this salon are attractive but I do find it a bit daunting when undertaking any type of "enhancement" procedure by someone that looks as if they are a WAG.
In brief, try this salon. They are friendly, non-judgemental (fat, thin, tall, short or whatever) and they do get results!
We are all different, but I find Halycon Days just that little bit more attentive and caring and this is exactly what I wanted.

Fantastic! Should have gone sooner - My GF had been complaining that I had horrible feet ... scratchy toenails and "rough bits". Every time I tried to get "friendly" in bed she would shove me away saying I would have to get my horrible feet sorted out!
I needed professional help ! After searching around on the internet I found that Halcyon Days specialise in grooming for men and .... even have a treatment for "Beefy Feet".
I never realised that having you feet "seen too" by a gorgeous therapist was such a great and realaxing experience ... in fact after a hard week at work I admit I was fast asleep ... or possibly in a "trance" after about 10 mins.
I woke up to find my feet all sorted ... feeling fantastic and not a rough bit in sight to offend the GF.
I hurried home and tried out the new feet on the Girlfriend ... sucess! She was impressed and Cuddles were back on the menu :)

halcyon days? you must be kidding! - This salon is run by a very unpleasant man. I booked for an appointment last year and before I could pay the deposit (which no other salon offering this service asks for) I had a health problem and a friend was supposed to cancel for me. Unbeknown to me, she didn't. I booked again today for the same lengthy treatment and was going to phone a week prior to the appointment to pay the deposit. However, because of my past 'indiscretion' I was later telephoned by this person and told they did not want me as a client (I didn't know business was that good!!) Wouldn't it have been a better idea to ask me to pay the deposit today (which I was just about to do) not get on his high horse and belittle me? Good riddance - there are far better salons elsewhere who don't ask for a deposit and are run by people who actually know what they are talking about. He didn't inspire me with confidence last time - he has a very unfortunate manner, as if he can't be bothered (maybe it's because he doesn't know) My advice is to avoid this place and find yourself a business that can reassure you about the procedures and appreciates your custom and the considerable amount of money you pay them for their services.
