Don't waste your money or your time - I agree with the other review but I could kick myself for not having seen it before I decided to go to this shambles of a salon.

I phoned the lady who quoted me £40 for gel wraps. When I got to the salon I noticed that it was very messy. The woman works on her own and I explained to her that i usually get everlasting polish at Nails Inc and she explained that there is no such thing and that she has 30 years experience and knows that there is only gel and acrylics. I didn't like her attitude from the start. While she was buffing/filing the nail bed she kept filing my actual skin (!) and I had to tell her a number of times that she was srubbishing my skin. I asked for a French finish and I noticed that the line was not even straight. Once the whole job was done she said it would be £65 even though she had quoted me £40 on th ephone (she denied this). Anyway, I paid the £65 and left. i wasn't happy with the finish but I thought it would look ok once I repaint the french finish, which I did. However, the nails looked so fake. Some of the nails were so thick and they just looked terrible.

After a few days two of the nails fell off. I called her to complain and she hurled abuse at me. Eventually I got her to calm down and asked her to speak to me with respect the way I am with her and then I said if she wants my repeat business she needs to at least look at the nails. I arranged to see her the following Friday (26/9/08).

When I got to the salon she didn't even look at my nails but hurled more abuse at me. I found her very aggressive bordering on physically aggressive. She said I had the cheek to bargain down from £80 to £65 and that because I had travelled so far she had let me off; what a cheek, she had clearly forgotten that I told her that I only live round the corner. She kept asking why I bothered coming to the salon in teh first place and I told her that i was hoping to find a local place and that that was my big mistake. She refused to sort my nails out and said that she would charge me for it! Anyway, we argued and then I walked out.

Only go to this place if you want shabby service, aggression, don't mind throwing your money down the toilet and if you want to be treated like dirt.

PS. I don't believe this woman is qualified to do what she does and I will be looking into that this week. 29-09-08
