Not Great - I'd heard some good things about the white eagle so maybe I was there on a bad night, but the food was really average, watery cabbage, and bland pork. And for the amount of money it cost the portions pretty weak.

Beer was about the same as normal pub prices, so not really sure what the attraction is. Also we were there on a friday night and the atmosphere was dead.

Avoid.... 21-02-09

Poliz mnie I'm Polish - I'm Polish, my mum is a Godess in the kitchen, I can tell what is good stuff, what is not.
And maybe what you get there is not EXACTLY what I remember from my family home, but still - it's OK.

If you want to get an idea of a typical ( even stereotypical) Polish food, go there, order zurek, pierogi, borsh, have a beer, watch a football game and you'll get some hints how an average, deep provincial bar looks like. It's got its charm.

And it's quite cheap. 15-12-08
