IDA London Reviews

DELISH, BUT WEAR YOUR WINTER COAT! - Lovely place & delicious food, but I was frozen & not the only customer to sit through dinner in my winter coat.

Gorgeous place! - This is my local and, like other reviewers, I almost don't want to review it for fear the hordes come traipsing in and spoil the ambience... However it might be impossible to do that as it is so small and so distinctive in its appeal. Amazing place to come in a group, a couple or even alone. Friendly - like being in a family house almost - but not in the slightest bit intrusive. Food yummy and if you want anything extra boy do they go the extra mile. My daughter had her 11th birthday party here early evening and without being asked - yes that's right without even being asked!!! - the chef had created the most wonderful cake outlined with raspberries in the shape of an H (for Harriet). Yet this place is very romantic, too - intimate and special, a hidden away treasure. Def one for the little black book of top places.

Authentic Itialian - This is a lovely quaint little local restaurant on Kilburn lane. We have been there a few times and it is always busy and it feels like a very local crowd. It is ver intimite with the tables close together, but that just ads to the charm.

the food is wonderful, fresh home made pastas a and seasonal menu with daily specials.

definatly recomend if you are in the area.

Pasta for the locals - I almost don't want to write this review. Not because the place is bad, but because I don't want to share. Call me selfish ...

Ida is one of those little restaurants that you pretty much need to be a local to know about. It is run by a husband and wife team and they even make their own pasta - something unheard of these days? The ambiance is nice in a homely way, with little nick-nacks, old posters, and photos on the walls. Because it is family-run, I've always found the service to be very friendly and the odd little hiccup here and there just adds to the character of the place.

The restaurant is full of locals most evenings so you should book.
