Quality - Went and got myself slightly burned with a DT125 that was was proving to be truly unreliable. Dave and the lads got it sorted. Would trust them 100%. Thing I liked best was the attitude. No such thing as a silly question hear and the lads have got all the time and enthusiasm for you and your project bike. Sadly there aren't too many places like this around. Can't reccommend them enough. In future all repairs and bikes will come from Merc Tek.

Very happy - I recently bought my very first bike. I spoke to Dave a couple months back telling him i was interested in an old geared bike and not these twist and go lawnmowers i keep seeing. He recommended a DT50. After a lengthy informative chat i went home and found an Old 1986 DT50 on gumtree. I liked the look of it and After negotiation id sealed the deal! I brang it down to Dave because it just wasn't running right and looked a bit tatty. The engine was damaged and needed overhauling, i couldn't believe it! Dave invited me down every step to look at what was wrong with engine and I even learnt a bit on the way. After an overhaul it runs so smooth and runs perfect! First kick every time. Thanks very much to Dave for making my first bike such a delight to ride. It peaks at 65mph which is unbelievable considering they are meant to do 29mph as standard! I also got a chrome downpipe for it with a bigger expansion chamber for a very cheap price.

All in all, i couldn't have asked for a better service and i recommend him to anyone looking for an educated mechanic!
