A nice stay - I stayed at Ashlee House with my English class, while in London. It's conveniently close to Kings Cross, underground and train station, from which you can travel in practically any direction through the city.
The staff was not only kind, but extremely caring and helpful. My friend had her earrings stolen - they were retrieved with a fierce effort from the people there. They were also very good at pointing out places to go, and places not to go.
Breakfast was modest but good and the rooms, though small, had quite good beds and a safe system to keep thieves out.
You felt safe and comfortable.
