Not good at all - My very good and decent and honest friend reports that she had a dreadful experience here.

"My worst restaurant experience ever. Unless you like having the waitress tip beer over you or your guests soaking their clothes, or you have a "week" to wait for your order to finally arrive with half of it forgotten... then being demanded that you pay for the bill in full - including the tipped over beer & service in full . It seems to me that " abrasive " & expedient approach to clients doesn't cover it...needless to say won't be going back for seconds."

What a shame

Recommend avoid at all costs - My worst restaurant experience ever. I often go to restaurants & this is the first time i have complained let alone felt the need to write a negative review. As the review system requires us to rate the restaurant i have to put a star, but in choice would definitely not do so.
Went to this restaurant for a family Sunday lunch (24th June 2012 )in the course of serving our drinks,the waitress tipped a glass of beer , the contents of which went all over my elderly mother, soaking her, her jumper, all the way down her trousers & also her rain jacket. My mother had to then spend 15 mintues in the cloakroom trying to soak up the beer on her clothing & explained to the head waiter in charge what had happened. The waitress seemed not to know what to do, i had to ask her to change my mother's chair as this was not obvious to her that a client would not wish to sit on a chair smelling of beer. They were hosting a large celebration party upstairs & it seemed to us that they were more preopccupied with that, as our food was slow in comming & they also forgot part of my father's order. We remained pleasant & a new waitress took over our table advised that she was the senior waitress on duty & would speak to the manager about our bill at the end of the meal. When we finished I asked her what she proposed to do about the bill ( I assumed as a normal curtesy for the inconvenience & upset to a regular client ( we have been going to that restaurant for some years, as family & friends, they would at least not charge for my mothers meal ) she went to ask & came back with a plate of baklava - which she offered as " complimentary " in compensation, we don't eat baklava and refused it asked again about any reduction in compensation on the bill which she handed to us to be paid in full. The senior manager then came over & after saying that he had rechecked the incident on their camera confirmed the incident & offered a discount of £2 ( less than the cost of the beer or service !) I asked him to consider again & do the " right thing " & he returned with another person who said he was the owner, who demanded the bill be paid in full but offered to pay for the dry cleaning of my mothers clothes explaining he has 10 other restaurants & he wasn't going to be giving a " free meal " to anyone when these things happened. I was extremely disappointed in their attitude to us, as customers & repeat customers over many years on the first occasion that there has been an incident or complaint, which was entirely legitimate. I paid the bill in full as demanded & explained to the rest of the restaurant what had taken place & how they treat their clientel. Needless to say we won't be returning to that restaurant and our family & friends were also surprised at the way we were treated.

IF YOU HAVE A FREE WEEK - Visited this restaurant for the first time tonight.The service was so appalingly slow I became seriously concerned as to whether I would make t to Heathrow for my flight next week. If it was not for the fact we were with friends I would have leftbefore the main courses were served.Avoid

bad experience - Not recomended, the food took nearly an hour and was cold. when we complained, the staff and manager were extremely rude and abrasive. Will definatly not be going back.

very good - I was there.. loved it would deffinetly go back and enjoy the food again... exellent service. A west end venue in the heart of north london..
