No, no, no - So so sad.
This used to be a reliable place to go for a cheap Italian meal: a chaotic, communal place serving great food (for the price).
But?
I don't know. The waiter said that the main chef was on holiday. I hope that explains it but I am not convinced. In a restaurant only a third full, a couple should not have one person's main meal arriving after the other person had finished theirs (and this was inclusive of a time consuming (and main meal cooling) bathroom visit).
As for the food, unfortunately it was both bland and greasy (an unfortunate combination).
This may have been a one-off aberration but who would risk their money to give them another chance based on this performance?
