Warm, green and full of life. - I've been to this little place twice, both times for birthday dinners of friends, this adds a special bit of fun to the evening which consists of a crazy celebration cd which has classics such as 'happy birthday to ya' pumped out at a level slightly too loud for the stereo.

Its all a bit crazy, and a little cake is presented to the birthday boy/girl which is always a bit of a laugh.

But what about the food? Well it's pretty good stuff, traditional Italian food with good sized pizza selection (which I always regret not going for).

I went for the steak, and it was well cooked with a good wild mushroom sauce, with calamari as a starter.

They have a couple of bottled beers, and a decent selection of wine .. the plonk I had last night wasn't great, and for a mid price range was a little disappointing, but I just threw it down my neck and got into the spirit of the place.

The owner is lively, and happy to joke around with his staff and make you feel welcome ..

Its a great little retreat if you ever find yourself at the end of the northern line.. and their prices will leave you enough for a taxi back to civilisation. 20-11-08
