No customer service + Traction alop - 1. Wefts sewn in very loosely and in chunks of four.
2. Cornrows at the front very tight causing traction alopecia
3. My own hair sewn into the cornrows to make it “tight”


Took in an image of hairstyle I wanted, bought the human hair that would produce desired hairstyle and was assured it would be fine.

Started with Cornrows which were very loose on the side, when I brought them to the hairdressers attention she said it would be fine and threaded her needle to sew over the loose cornrows. At this point the front and back of my hair was on fire but I assumed this was the normal procedure.

She then took out the hair from the packets and started to painfully sew them on in large chunks of four wefts in one go. Mind you I was one of two clients in the salon there was no hurry and no need to overload my hair with such heavy weights of hair especially the front.

Looking in the mirror one the painful job was completed, it looked nothing like the style I asked for. When I asked the owner/hairdresser Maxine she blamed it on the hair and stated that I purchased the wrong hair and if I wanted her to rectify the problem I would have to pay double. So much for customer service! With my scalp on fire and a hairstyle I would not wish on my worst enemy I walked out paying for the service.

The story did not end here, I went home in tears of anger, the front of the weave was so tight that my hair started to pull away from my scalp in chunks by the end of the day. I decided enough was enough within 24 hours and started to remove the weave, what I can say is no qualified weavologist would do this to anyone’s head!

I can say I will never return to this salon again as I now have no hair at my temples where the cornrows were pulled too tight…£60 was wasted buying 100% human hair weave that can never be used again. And the money paid for this (dis) service will not be refunded.
