Big Easy is an American crab shack/Tex-Mex restaurant. This is the place to go for a burger with all the trimmings. There is live music every night and the atmosphere is fun and lively with the easy going, Southern attitude that the restaurant is based on. The happy hour is on all-day Monday and from 4pm to 7.30pm Tuesday to Friday. Catering for private parties is available upon request. The restaurant is also renowned for its fresh fruit margheritas.

Big Easy London Reviews

Good ol' bbq... a must! - Want a good old taste of Louisiana? a good platter bigger than your table of succulent ribs and quantities that would make you smile unless you've been living in the south of the US? Well big easy that is! Named after the famous town of New Orleans, it managed to keep it's atmosphere while being on the King's road.

I like to go there when I feel nostalgic of Texas!

Great value and good fun. - We visted The Big Easy for a friend’s birthday as we had heard about the famous surf and turf - 1-kilo steak and 1/2 lobster combo. The food here is actually really good value, as the portions are MASSIVE and it's executed pretty well. OK, so up against somewhere like Hawksmoor, this isn't the best steak you are ever going to get in London but it was perfectly delicious, generously seasoned and well cooked. There was a variety of sauces available; I opted for béarnaise as usual (I can never resist the unctuousness of it oozing all over my uber rare steak). This was served with onion rings which were actually very good, crispy, light and not too oily. The lobster was well cooked too and we all donned our 'special bibs' (optional!), ready to extract every last bit of meat from that shell.

The atmosphere was lively but not oppressive; the one slight grumble being the 2 man act that started knocking out a variety of early ‘90’s chart ‘classics’ towards the end of our meal. Still, whatever floats your boat. It just stifled conversation a little as we were basically sat right next to them.

All said, this place is a winner and I highly recommend it to all Londoners and visitors alike. We had a delicious meal which I think came in at a little under £30 each - a bargain really, considering the portions. I'm a big eater and I couldn't finish everything on my plate.Good job I was dining with a group of ravenous men who fought over my srubbishs at the end. Good stuff.

Relaxed and fun - I love this place, we used to come on weekends in school holidays and have jugs of beer and listen to the live music. Fun, lively atmosphere, good cocktails and if you go you HAVE to order the jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese or there's no point in going at all.

This place is BIG - The servings at this place are MASSIVE! I don't tnink I've ever been so full in my life but I must say that I enjoyed every pork rib, prawn, chicken breast, calamari ring, fries, beer, and crab in the process.

It's a messy affir so be sure to wear that bib.

A fantastic and very affordable venue for large groups.

You have to be REALLY hungry - I went here with a group of 20 for a birthday party. This place is fun, loud and full of food and happy people. Plan to be stuffed when you leave b/c the portions are huge. I've never seen a chicken thigh as big as the one's here. The food is not great (but I don't eat ribs or deep fried things) but the atmosphere is. The music is a hoot; you end up singing along. It's a fun place for a big group. And you really do leave with a smile on your face even if your stomach hurts from too much food.

Cajun style all the way - I love this place, from the autmosphere to the crab `bibs`. It's the perfect place to go with a big group of friends for fun, food and music. And that is a lot of food! The portions are huge, and the staff is friendly. They have live music on weekends that cover all the songs you know from Elvis to Jimmy Buffet. It's all-around good times!
