Location, location, I guess - A bar at the top of what seems to be one of those ugly 1960s office blocks converted into a hotel. Hotel bars are usually pedestrian and overpriced and this one is no exception. The distinction this one has of course is its 15th floor view of London's skyline but even that seemed disappointing for some reason.

The food ranged from bland to actually quite good so there is some positivity in there somewhere. The drinks are far too expensive, such that it brought a premature end to the evening. A more reasonable drinks price list would have resulted in a longer stay and ultimately more profit (one would have thought).

Saving the worst until the last: the toilets. Extremely tired and tatty, they looked like they belonged in a run-down pub, rather than an establishment claiming to be amongst the elite.

All in all, best avoided really. 15-02-11
