GO PRIVATE!!! - I'm always hesitant to write bad reviews, but in this case I feel it's fair. This is not a personal review of the dentist, but from a professional perspective.

I have visited the dentist a number of times recently to rectify a tooth issue, first of all it was made a lot worse, secondly only mildly better. I have since moved to a different dentist.

This dentist seems to be in a hurry and doesn't explain things well, if at all.

My general experience of the practice is that they are not too customer focused. However, perhaps this is the case with all NHS practices?

My advice: probably worth paying to go private.

Clock Tower - Dr Flynn - I agree with the comment about this practise - i've had appointments cancelled before too.

I moved to this town and got myself (after waiting on the nhs list) registered with this nhs dentist. On my first appointment (I had been seen privatly 6 months before and given the all clear) to my surprise at my check up I was told I needed quite a few filings. Since having them done they have unfortuatly for some unknown reason constantly fallen out. I have to keep going back to have them re done which is proving costly and timely.

Even thou I can't really afford it I'm going private as its working out cheaper and easier!

Kaz - This used to be a good, caring practice, but in the last couple of years i'm afraid that the 'caring' reputation has been ruined by the receptionist - they made my husband wait 5 weeks for a replacement for a temp filling (the dentist actually requested to see him in one week)and then she cancelled the five week appointment date on the friday before the due day of the monday by leaving a message on the answerphone! This is not the first time that this has happened and there have been other incidents too......
