Established in 1999, the Azzurro restaurants have pizza and pasta dishes as the central theme of their menus but there is also a selection of more sophisticated Italian dishes. This is the flagship restaurant, situated close to the South Bank complex and the London Eye. Catering for private parties of up to 200 guests is available upon request.

Average - We wandered along Waterloo looking for a restaurant that would suit two adults and four children. With a mixture of tastes I am sure you can appreciate that it is not the simplest task.

We finally reached Azzurro and after an argument about Chinese being better than Italian we went in. The food was good especially the risotto. The childrens portions were a reasonable size although slightly expensive.

Service was moderate, not too attentive but not very slow.

My youngest child was interested in the fact that you could hear the trains going overhead!

All in all a reasonable experience 18-02-08
