Warren Evans London Reviews

Why is this so difficult? - Warren Evans make nice beds. They're not massively cheap, but they're good quality, sturdy and last well.

When we had to buy a replacement mattress in JULY, we popped into the store and ordered exactly what we'd had before. We were charged, on top of the >£300 the mattress cost, a £28 delivery charge for a third party delivery company that Warren Evans contract.

Delivery has been a nightmare.
They don't deliver on weekends - not ever. Not even for extra money. Week days, they "can't tell you" whether it'll be morning, or afternoon that they turn up and they don't listen to your preferences on that matter.
They have never been available to deliver when I've been able to work from home and so, months later, we're still waiting for the new mattress to arrive. According to the delivery company, it's not going to be this week.

If this is something you're happy with, go right ahead and order home delivery from Warren Evans. But if you want your mattress when you actually need it, pick it up yourself, or buy it elsewhere.

If Warren Evans weren't going to deduct 50% of the price of the mattress for cancelling our order, we'd both go elsewhere. The 'customer service' has been absolutely woeful and of no service to us whatsoever.

EDITED TO ADD:
According to their main office, it turns out that they CAN deliver this week – the bloke at Clapham was talking rubbish.

EDITED *AGAIN* TO ADD:
The mattress arrived, finally, but 'wouldn't fit upstairs' (odd, since we ordered exactly the same one we'd had before) and the delivery guys wouldn't try to get it up there in case they "hurt their backs" or "damaged the springs".

We've now been given a refund, but had to chase it, since it was approved by one person before we were told we couldn't have it by another.

Honestly, don't waste your time here.
The words 'piss-up' and 'brewery' come to mind.
