Firezza London Reviews

Going downhill fast - I ordered a pizza from Firezza to be delivered last night, it was their 'Firezza' and I was utterly disappointed.

It is supposed to be their signature pizza and last night it was virtually inedible. What used to be slivers of fresh tasty aubergine have become lumps of tasteless mushy vegetable matter.

I have noticed over the past 18 months that the quality of ingredients have dropped dramatically over at least six of their pizza recipes. In addition to this the quality of cooking has become sloppy and unprofessional. some pizzas have been delivered part cooked, part cremated and sometimes even both.

There are other premium pizza delivery companies out there, I highly recommend you visit them before ordering from Firezza.

Pizza Hype - I tried Firezza when it came to Crouch End after reading about it and checking the website. I must say it sounded fabulous with the fresh flown in Italian ingredients etc. I thought that would justify the very expensive pizza. However I wasn't impressed. Never one to give up on things after an initial test, I thought it might have been "new opening hitches" so gave it another try. I thought the second time round the Pizza was worse. The salads and starters were not too bad, but again were all at least £1-£2 more than Lupa. the pizza dough was doughy and stodgy, the fillings bland - not at all the way the true Italians inspire them and vastly over-priced.

I'm back to Lupa - where the consistency and quality is great week after week, month after month.

Great half metre pizza! - Gourmet pizza, thick handmade dough, wood fired amazingness.

Really fresh ingredients, and home made 'rustic' style pizza. Lovely packaging; they look good sticking out of your weekly recycling bag.

I love to eat loads, and when you can order a 1/2 metre (rectangular) pizza with different toppings on each 1/4 metre you end up with a pizza you can either devour, share with mates .. or leave half till the morning after.

Only quibble I have is I live round the corner from this place, and sometimes the pizza isn't really hot .. but it doesn't bother me much..

They offer online ordering service (but it sucks) so I tend to use just-eat or the like when ordering off them. And they will send you offers via txt if you like..

Seriously worth checking out, if you like pizza this place ticks all the boxes.

Best pizzas in London - I tried Firezza last week, and was pretty much bowled over by the quality, taste and presentation of a fastfood that has long been cheapened and ised by popular restaurant and takeaway outlets. Firezza, on the otherhand, has brought real class and finesse to a true icon of Italian food.

Delicious, real foodie toppings including tiger prawns, goats cheese, porcini mushrooms and Italian truffle oil make these pretty much the Rolls Royce of takeaway and delivery pizzas. Made to traditional Neapolitan recipes and baked to perfection in wood fired ovens, they're sold by the metre and you can even change toppings every 1/4 of a metre too.

As far a phone orders go, Firezza are OK and friendly enough. Delivery from City branch was a little over the 30 minute buffer period, but my order came piping hot and ready to be ravaged, so I can't really complain.

In terms of the calibre of pizzas in the takeaway/delivery sector, Firezza are unsurpassable. For such a simply prepared dish, its amazing how simple fresh ingredients can really speak volumes in terms of taste. I think it's upped the bar in takeaway/delivery food - it's a shame all pizzas can't be quite like these.
