Nice food, shame about the Pace - We weren't here to stay. We had come for dinner on our wedding anniversary. The bare brickwork showed the warehouse origins of the hotel. Although an old building the hotel itself is new. The restaurant surroundings were very pleasant.
Our starters were with us in under a half hour. It looked like we would be through in well under two hours. The main course came quite quickly too. Then something went wrong and it took some time before our plates were taken away, and for the dessert menu to arrive. Other guests had been and gone in the meantime. If you want a quick meal you might need to keep chasing. We weren't really in a hurry but it was still slower than we wanted. However, the food was very good. The portions didn't look that large, but at the end of the evening I was full. Perhaps if they had been quicker I wouldn't have had room for that chocolate dessert!
The marks are low for the service. The food would get top marks.
