no Nirvana near this Buddha... - An amazing place for music and ambiance with a fantastic theatrical setting but I don't rate the service one bit. I would sum the staff I came into contact with as robotic and verging on sterile. Yes, harsh you could say... when I requested for a romantic table when reserving, being placed on a walkway at the base of the stairs on the way to the bathrooms was not what I had in mind. Being re-seated behind a inconveniently placed pillar in the back will have to do as I needed a stiff drink and a place to dry off, (care of this London weather). After the automated greeting and soulless up-selling prompts by our server, you will squint in the darkness onto a relatively uninspiring menu and crowd pleasing wine list. If you feel the need to purposefully flow by the hundreds of great bars and lounge joints in the West end just to make the pilgrimage to this place, eat somewhere else first and rent a seat in the bar instead...
