Ganapati is a south Indian restaurant.
The menu is small and compact, and they try to remain as faithful as possible in terms of spicing and preparation methods to particular dishes found in peoples’ homes and on street stalls across south India.

Ganapati London Reviews

Delicious! - GO try this place - its a little off the beaten track (well not for me as I'm lucky enough to live around the corner!), but well worth it. Authentic southern Indian food in a convivial atmostphere at a great price - what more could you ask for! They get busy, so make sure you book in advance!!

Extraordinary South Indian - In the posh bit of Pechkam (yes that does exist!), tiny Ganapati is hidden away on Holly Grove. Worth traveling to, this place is a gem. Unusual menu, or to be precise, authentic South Indian menu with vegetarians and fish lovers well catered for as you might expect. Interesting Indian wines are worth trying.

Good things come in small packages - Cute little south Indian restaurant in the Bellenden Road area of SE15. Slightly out of the way, this place is well worth seeking out. The decor is basic but colourful, and the staff are extremely welcoming. There are a few small wooden tables to seat two, and several larger tables for sharing when it gets busier in the evenings.
I'd been here last year immediately following a holiday in Kerala so was slightly underwhelmed by the food at the time - but then who wouldn't be if you'd just come from enjoying catch of the day at sunset on the beach to an urban setting in Peckham....
After some time passed, we ventured back again to get a second opinion and were pleasantly surprised - a menu full of flavourful and light dishes with just the right amount of heat where appropriate. We over-ordered but managed to polish most of it off - the Masala Dosa was light as air and accompanied with a great selection of chutneys and curry, a crispy puffed puri was covered with spiced chick peas and potatoes and refreshing yoghurt. Mains included a chicken curry with the flakiest roti bread ever and a tasty vegetarian plantain curry with coconut chutney and a zingy beetroot pickle. Everything felt light, fresh and healthy and most of all authentic. A banana lassi then rounded things off nicely before I rolled myself home again.
