Wellcome Collection is a unique mix of galleries, events, and meeting, reading and eating places where you can consider what it means to be human.

Wellcome Trust Collection London Reviews

Your Welcome! - I don't think there is any other European capital where one is able to get so close to art and knowledge for free. It must be some kind of praise for humanitarian idea that the above need to equally accessible to everyone.

Wellcome collection not only gets you closer to the secrets of human body and contemporary medicine, but also combines the latter with art.

My highlight was the copy of Hieronim Bosh - Earth Pleasures Garden and the exhibition Madness and Modernity - Kokoshka, Schiele and some other installations from Freud's times and fascination with psycho-analysis.

I spent a couple of hours there. Definately not as crowded as Museum of Science.

Anyone bored at home, just move your 4 letters to Euston!

P.S. +Massive Library

Must do in Euston - The next time that your passing through Euston, take a moment to visit another world and get away from the Capitals hub hub.

Hidden within the walls of the very impressive Wellcome Trust building on Euston road is the extraordinary collection of Sir Henry Wellcome.

Mediceine Man, is a permanent exhibition of philanthropist and patron of science Sir Henry Wellcome, the collection has many odd and bazaar exhibits pertaining from his interest in the human body and health, including Napoleon's toothbrush.

If it's all too much to take in or you don't fully understand an exhibit - there are free guided tours from their specially trained visitor assistants.

The Wellcome collection of medicine, life and art, near Euston Square and Euston Station, closed on Mondays open Tuesday - Friday from 10.00 and Sunday from 11am.

Entrance is free.

Enjoy...
