My Gruntle Was Never So Dissed - Booked this firm< 2 days in advance, for a 04:30 airport run, following surgery to both legs. Was up at sparrow fart & had no credit on mobile, Taxi 5mins late, I begin to worry, 10mins late, beads of perspiration forming, 15mins late, major stomach churning. Half an hour late & I'm convinced the world will end if I miss my plane to meet Husband in Malta. I end up running with my 2 cases bouncing off my stitched & bandaged legs, to catch a bus. No bus due so I phone 1919 from a call box who deny my ever making a booking but did ask if he operator was a young female, which it was. The upshot was, They got me there (for the full fare)I caught the plane by the skin of my teeth, burst stitches on both legs & boarded plane looking as if I'd done a night shift at the abbatoir, not calm, collected & gorgeous, as was my intention. So if ever I need a taxi to the frozen wastes of hell they would have to pay ME to grace their taxi. all in all rubbish.
