Art workshops will combine sound and art, using music for inspiration. The focus will be on songs about revolution and redemption, and artists who have sung about these topics. Come and experiment with drawing, painting, airbrushing and graffiti. Every Saturday 12pm-430pm. FREE Includes West Indian refreshments and cuisine.
Poetry Slam - Come and perform your poem. Three judges will be picked randomly from the crowd and the poets will compete in heats, winners of each heat going through to the final round. Poetry must be original, performed with no props, costumes or musical accompaniment. Time limit 3 minutes. Every Saturday, sign in 6-7pm, till late! STARTING 9 JAN 2010 FINAL on 30 JAN!
