Chris James - Private Client Lawyer - Chris James acted as Executor and then Trustee, administering my deceased Father's estate. He made a number of administrative errors, for example, requesting myself and my then 17 year old daughter pay a mortgage of approximately £30,000.00, this was in error - he misread the will he himself drafted. We were in fact entitled to our proportion of the Estate free of any debt. We pointed out his error which was not satisfactorily resolved and felt it necessary to raise a formal complaint which was escalated to the Legal Ombudsman for resolution. I would not recommend his services in such a sensitive and difficult area.
