Quick, Friendly & Reasonable - Galileo's is just round the corner from my office and is a perennial favourite for a quick Italian lunch with a client.

The staff are always very friendly, but never over attentive, and the food arrives very quickly and is generally very good.

As someone who always wants a pizza when there is one available, I couldn't really go into too much detail on the other dishes, but the pizzas themselves are very good - thin and crispy as a true Italian pizza should be. Guests always speak highly of the other dishes.

It never seems to get too busy, but then they do have a cavernous room in the basement when they're oversubscribed I suppose.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick, friendly and reasonable meal in one of the most expensive parts of London 29-07-08
