Terrible letting agent - These agents are completely dishonest, incompetent and untrustworthy.

We've lived in a flat for 1 year with mould growing continually indoors due to lack of ventilation and poor insulation. Paid £240 in fees initially then charged another £240 for renewal, with nothing being done about the problems. The toilet also broke and flooded the kitchen and bathroom, they sent round the guy who put up the fence to fix it. The flat smelled repeatedly of sewage in the winter.

We managed to negotiate a shorter contract but refused the fees on principle. London Move advised we carry on with a periodic tenancy, being 'in our interests', then 2 DAYS prior to the contract expiring we were told the landlord wanted the property back.

In these two days they have not returned a single call (the manager is always 'busy') or replied to an email, leaving us facing a retaliatory eviction because we dared to complain.
We are now taking up action with Hackney Council, ARLA, property ombudsman and will pursue legal action for loss through dishonesty.

Good Agents - London Move helped us quickly and easily find our ideal flat, they then guided us through the referencing and contract process, and managed the the whole process from move-in and to handover of keys. We've been renting in London for a good few years, but London Move made this stressful period a smooth experience. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and were very happy to have them managing the property we live in. Highly recommended.
