Mother Aitken's - Charming pub with great value food on corner of Leith Links. Free wifi, comfy sofas as well as pub tables and stools, pool table at back (50p a game) and nice landlord. Available for private functions and they do buffets or menu food (not tried buffet yet, though hear it's good.)

Number 12 bus got me a minute's walk away to the door from Haymarket.
