fiasco - I had to give this company a 1 because you can't minus a review unfortunately, First of all they don't work weekends, so not 24hrs 365 days a year as advertised, alarm bells should of rung then they weren't what their website claimed them to be, but in your grief rationale seems to go out of the window. I engaged Kanes to do my wifes funeral, possibly the worst decision i have ever made,and one i will regret for the rest of my days, First they didn't pick up my wifes body for 3 days from the hospital, dispite the coroner telling them they could,and i only found out when i took her clothes to Kanes for her wear in the chapel of rest,and wifes body wasn't there,they told me they had dispatched a driver to collect the paper work from the coroner, they lied they hadn't, kanes, then kept ringing for me to pay the bill before my wifes funeral dispite the fact i have never to this day recieved one through the post, it was supposed to be paid from my late wifes estate via the bank as agreed at the time of booking the funeral, so i put the cost of the ,funeral on my credit card,when i did eventually recieve the bill albeit paid, it was in the back of the car on the way home from the crematorium, and it had the wrong address on, we specificaly
said no family members to be pall bearers, so when we got to the crematorium, we were told they were 2 members of staff short, and could somebody help carry the coffin, my son and his friend stepped in after putting aside their own grief, i could go on about Kanes and what a fiasco my late wifes funeral was but i don't want to bore people, but i will say if you have a complaint go in and sort it out, because they refuse to answer emails and letters, they will not tell to which profesional body they belong, so they can't be investigated.
In closing i will warn you DON'T ENGAGE THIS COMPANY TO DO A FUNERAL FOR A LOVED ONE OR ANYBODY FOR THAT MATTER.
