The Sanctuary is a comprehensive day spa for women located in the heart of fashionable Covent Garden. It offers effective beauty treatments as well as the famous Atrium swimming pool, the whirlpool, steam room and sauna, and the fully equipped gymnasium. Members nights run Wednesday through to Friday from 5pm until 10pm.

Very Disappointing Experience - I planned a spa day with my sister in law after she gave me a voucher for the Sanctuary Spa for my birthday. We have been to several day spas before and had high expectations of this high profile destination, however we were utterly disappointed with the experience.

When we arrived we felt hearded like cattle with lots other women through the reception area to queue for check in. We found the seating areas to be hugely overcrowded, oftentimes with groups of ladies standing around waiting for a seat to clear so they could get a drink or something to eat.

The first spa treatment I had was ok, no complaints but the second one had been 'double booked' as I found out after sitting in the waiting room for 20 minutes and speaking with 3 different members of staff.

For the money we paid for this day, the quality of the service and facility was nowhere near to meeting our expectations. The main 'leisure' pool is overlooked by the cafe area, the large spa pool is tucked away between 2 stairwells so subject to high passing footfall, all of the communal areas are noisy (not relaxing) and there are insufficient seating and reclining areas for a day spa.

Overall not recommended, in this case I definitely did not get what I paid for!

good afternoon off! - it's ok but don't use this as a treat for people..it's not a treat it's a girls place that we pay for ousrelves :)
