Jewellery for the bling-free - I randomly wandered into Laura Lee after getting my haircut down the road, and left with an impulse purchase - a silver chain with a tiny silver apple. I wear it nearly everyday, and have returned for another necklace as well as for several gifts for friends' birthdays and bridal showers.

Laura Lee has really gorgeous and delicate jewellery. She has affordable charms, necklaces, earrings and bracelets as well as more expensive fine jewellery and gemstones. Much of her jewellery is simple, small, delicate, and very feminine. They are really great gifts for someone who wears jewellery but isn't into the big, bold and blingy costume stuff that's around these days. This is the kind of gift that is meaningful.

They give all their jewellery in sweet blue velvet bags tied with tiny ribbons. They're also happy to polish tarnished silver jewellery in their machine downstairs which makes it look as good as new. 08-09-08
