Great beer selection - I've visited this place twice and it appears a naturally and generally busy vibe kind of pub, a warm, friendly ambience with unremarkable layout, decoration or location. But that's not really the point of the Ship... it’s about the range of beers. It’s wider than anywhere I’ve seen. Real ale heaven! They have a selection at any one time of at least 8 real ales and this menu, it appears, is changed on a weekly basis. There’s a board showing the full range of other ales they have access to... about another several dozen, and so many I’d never heard of before. Good pub. Fabulous pub if you like real ale. 23-07-08
