disappointing service - Noone greets you when you arrive, so we sat down somewhere and I went to the bar to get us a drink and find out what the procedure was for food. We hadn't booked so the lady said she needed to check something out the back and then she'd find out if there was a table available. So I took our drinks back to the table and shortly afterwards she reappeared from the back and told us that this table was in the restaurant and we couldn't sit here, we would have to wait in the other room. So we moved.

After about 20 minutes she still hadn't told us if we had a table or not, so I went back to the bar and told her we were leaving because we were bored of waiting for her to tell us if there was a table or not.

No apology. 24-04-10

Superb Gastro-pub - Love it there, it's just a lovely place for a meal. Great tasty plates of high quality food with good beer to wash it down with.

I've been several times and it's never disappointed. 17-10-08
