crooks of West Kensington - When I first entered this shop an elderly Gentleman was complaining that of exactly the same problem as the above reviewer. Never-the-less I went ahead and paid 35 POUNDS for my camera to be examined on the faith that the repair could be done within 7-14 days once the examination was complete. Nearly five weeks later my camera is not repaired and I will now have to collect it as such, but WILL NOT BE REFUNDED MY 35 POUNDS. The manager who works in a shop in Great Portland Street is rude, and it is my belief that this shoddy outfit makes their money not by repairing cameras but charging for estimates that they lack the knowledge to carry out.

terrible service, rude manager - This company does not keep its word. I got a quotation on the same day I brought my Nikon D40X camera and was told that it will be ready in 5 days. This is the reason I paid 20 pounds. Three days after, they called to say they couldn't fix the camera in 5 days after all, so I had to take back my camera unrepaired. BUT THEY DIDN'T RETURN THE 20 POUNDS. The manager is a crook and extremely rude! I found out later, this shop even charge higher than the authorized Nikon service agent. So don't go to this shop.
