Quo Vadis London Reviews

Treat yourself in Soho - A fab place for a special meal in Soho.

The food is magical.

The Hart Brothers are the guys behind Fino and barrafina (both worth checking out).

The barstaff create some truly delicious cocktails - try the Earl Grey martini!

If you want to celebrate something special you should definitely head here.

No longer for the stuffy - I always heard this used to be a more stuffy English crowd; old school. But with the recent remodel it doesn’t appear to be that way anymore. Or at least there seemed to be a lot of diversity at lunch when I was there. The decor is light and airy with beautiful flower bouquets and art. Most tables are situated with a booth on one side and chairs on the other and the dining room in split into 2 areas; one closer to the kitchen and one closer to the bar.

The food is great. Lots of starters to choose from such as seared scallops, globe artichoke (which I had and loved), beef carpaccio, steak tartar or sautéed mushrooms, to name a few. We were all happy with our choices. They also serve a wide range of seafood and pasta dishes as well as meat. My colleagues had the rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce and thick-cut chips. It was huge and they ate every bite. I had the grilled turbot with salsa verde and fennel; also delicious. The food is prepared simply but it’s impressive.

The service was attentive and spot on. I have no complaints about the food, atmosphere or service. My only complaint is how cold the restaurant is. I had to keep my jacket on the entire meal. The bill came to about £220 for people with wine and coffees. A good place to go with clients for sure.
