WASTE OF SPACE! and life! - I used the store in Stoke on Trent! My wife bought me a valentines watch in 2010, it was faulty! I sent it back, the shop told me that they would send it to the manufacturer, however when after several calls And several months the watch was still apparently unfixed. As the months, and yes I do mean months, when by I was told that the watch had been returned to the shop and was still faulty! So they have sent it back again to the manufacturer. As further months went past I called the shop who told me (this being a different employee to the one I spoke to at all other times) told me that they could see in the paperwork that this watch have never left the shop until recently! Finally the watch apparently disappeared, I was told it was lost in the post, and they were unwilling to give me a refund or anything for the item!!! To be fair I would not wish this shop upon any of the shopper on the planet so please stay clear! 11-01-11

I needed a battery replaced - I was told they would package it and send it to Seiko.

Then they rang me NINE TIMES over EIGHT WEEKS telling me SEIKO had found a fault with my watch – £149 to repair. It was the same sales call each time.

It turned out THEY HADN'T SENT IT TO SEIKO, and there was nothing wrong with my watch - THEY WERE LYING TO GET ME TO PAY FOR UNNECESSARY REPAIRS!

When, after the eighth call, I let them know in no uncertain terms that I knew they were lying, and that I STILL didn't want these repairs completed, I got a final call reporting a new fault. Investigation by Seiko themselves confirmed that somebody had taken a magnet to my watch! I eventually got a full refund.

However, the people who knowingly lied to me in those nine phonecalls still work at the Manchester branch, and the company has opened about 8 branches in just 10 years. I wonder how...
