Don't go here - Divine in Maida Vale is the worst salon/beauty therapist I have ever visited. I bought vouchers through Groupon.co.uk (who I still believe to be a good website) to treat myself and my Mum to an hour long Dermalogica facial and a hot stone back massage.

I have had quite a few Dermalogica facials in the past (at other salons) and they have all been fantastic, and so I was really looking forward to this one. I wish I had saved my money.

The staff were polite enough, (despite all looking as though they didn't want to be there), but myself and my Mum thought that they didn't seem to know what they were doing.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The music was also terrible. Normally in a beauty therapist room you would listen to relaxing music (sound of whales or birds singing or something), but the best of Barbra Streisand and then piano versions of Take That and Steps weren't my idea of what you should hear at a professional beauty therapist.

The treatments themselves also weren't up to scratch... my boyfriend could have done better!

I wish I hadn't have wasted mine and my Mum's time.

It's cheap, but it's cheap for a reason. 29-05-11
