Previously Floriana, Nozomi is a stylish new restaurant and bar serving excellent Japanese cuisine. The large bar area attracts the paparazzi seeking clientele whilst the restaurant serves surprisingly good sushi and sashimi.

Dancing with the Pseudo Royals - The food was only moderate at best... went on a Saturday night and the sashimi was not the freshest. Cooked food was mildly better. Serviceable ersatz Nobu miso cod. Lamb shops were a little sweet but a perfect temperature. I like my meat on the side and they correctly interpreted medium rare.

The real story is in the front bar, as this is a disco masquerading as a sushi restaurant. Packed full of public school kids looking for bad behaviour. The DJ wouldn’t take requests (turned up his nose at the suggestion of JT) but the music was still good. Fun time and gets going early enough that a 1AM bedtime was completely reasonable.
