All the food at Ottolenghi is made in their kitchens, right below the shops. The Ottolenghi philosophy requires that everything is hand crafted with extreme care and attention, from basic raw ingredients. The croissants, for example, are made in the traditional French way over three days, using French flour and butter. The vegetables are delivered early in the morning from the market to be freshly prepared for the day. This branch has a dining area where you can enjoy their fantastic food.

Ottolenghi London Reviews

Recommended - I recently ate here with a group of 5 friends and it was a marvellous, fun dining experience. After walking through what appeared to be a patisserie, with enormous displays of meringues and other mouthwatering calorific fancies, we sat at a long, candlelit white table with other diners (there are a few smaller tables dotted around) and shared a range of tapas-style courses, comprising seared tuna, beef, babaganoush (I love that word), goats cheese, aubergine... in fact, because there were 6 of us we ordered one of almost every dish on the menu. Everything was delicious - even the not-at-all rubbery calamari - and had I known the seared tuna and avocado was going to be quite so heavenly I'd have ordered it twice. The loos are unisex and have frosted glass doors on the cubicles, but you quickly get over the shock. Just go.

Greak breakfast and gourmet takeaway - This is one of those finds in Angel. A bakery of sorts that does great breakfast, cakes, and lunch and dinner...
like something you would find in Parisor Rome.
Wonderful salads, cakes and coffee.
They also have shops just off kensington Church St and in Westbourne Grove

Flavour Fusion - This is top restaurant and a perfect place for a nice brunch or lunch. Their dishes, including fresh pastries, are made daily and brought out to the front counter. For about £10 you can choose from 2 salads and a meat dish. They make wonderful food; full of bursting flavours from countries all over the world. I can't get enough of their salads and usually go for 3 salads instead of a meat dish because I can't decide on just two. And takeaway is something I do quite often too. Especially if you want to impress your guests without cooking yourself.

For brunch, if you order toast (as in various bread varieties, all homemade) with your meal, they bring out a toaster and plug it in at the table and give you several spreads.

It's a fun experience every time I eat there. I just wish the portions were slightly bigger (they recently made them smaller).
