great night out! - I recently went to Flutes as a guest at a birthday party. Having been to San Carlo, the pevious establishment, I have to say I was very impressed with the new concept. The restaurant has become a much more contemporary, "cooler" environment. We were greeted by a glamourous hostess (I presume is the new owner), who made us most welcome and proceeded to ensure a very good evening. Orders taken, we could sit back and take in the chilled music and calm relaxed atmosphere. The food was enjoyed by all, my Seabass was fabulous! The overall opinion about the meal was very tasty and well presented, attentive staff, attentive hostess, beautiful and clean surroundings and all the makings of a good night out! I have recommended Flutes to friends and will continue to do so. 21-09-09

a good restaurant ruined - This restaurant used be called the san carlo and was an excellent restaurant for many years it has recently been sold and renamed flutes and the new owner has ruined it-its lost its identity-food is moderate and 3 of us did not like a single starter-save your money-its just not an event going there anymore bring back the original owner Julian Biguzzi from Spain he established the original restaurant-im sure he would cry if he went there now.
The new owner should sell and stop pretending she a restauranteur-or maybe its a tax loss-dont waste your time or money ive enjoyed cheap hamburgers more than this-joke. 15-08-09
