Litvinoff & Fawcett are wooden bed makers and natural filled mattress manufacturers based in Shoreditch, Central London.

As one of the few remaining manufacturers in the area, we still supplying high quality affordable furniture direct from the workbench to the customer. We have on display at least twenty beds and nine different mattresses.

Guarantees - L&F Specialise in beds all with a 'lifetime' structural guarantee.

I purchased a set of Stainless Steel sauce pans from Woolworths with a 25 year guarantee...

How long and how valid actually are guarantees, and what happens to that guarantee if a company goes under?

Is the guarantee valid then, I think not.

The Ultimate Bed Shop and More - After meeting a wonderful German woman called Kerstin and sharing many a memorable night with her in her L&F bed this unique shop my first stop when it was all over!

I bought a fairly basic "Classic" 5 foot mattress with a pine platform bed. I have had this for 12 years and never looked back. The price was remarkably cheap. They have crept up since then, but when you work out the average life of a mattress as about 10/12 years you're looking at less than 10p p/night for something of high quality. I am now about to buy my second L&F bed and am very excited about upgrading, although I often thought surely a bed can't get better than this. I loved my "Classic". If you're buying more than 1 bed ask for a discount. They also have other lovely furniture and lots of unusual bits and pieces for the home and the prices are competitive. Julian the owner who I met for the first time yesterday is charming knowledgable and helpful. 20-09-07
