Literally manicure - I hate to give a harsh review to someone who was obviously doing her best and was in over her head, but I feel like other innocents shouldn't have to go through what I did. Stopped into this beauty salon for a manicure and about 5 minutes in, wished I hadn't. The treatment room is a windowless one in the basement. There I spent about 50 minutes being given the most aggressive and incompetent manicure I've had to date. The technician had such a hard time getting the nail shape even that she filed my nails down to tiny nubs. Far worse, in trimming my cuticles she cut me badly enough to draw blood not once but 4 times! Honestly I should have left but was too stunned. Polish was applied and I was rushed out 30 seconds later, without it having any chance to dry (no nail dryer, no drying spray) and it was raining, so naturally it smudged immediately. Someone find this gal another job and in the meantime, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere for nail maintenance. 26-01-09
