Good food and decent prices - We tried Silk Maker for the first time at the weekend and I must admit to being a little apprehensive about the quality of the food before ordering because the place looks a little tired. What is nice is that you can watch your meal being cooked in the open kitchen in the shop so you know it's done fresh when you order.

Anyway I needn't have worried as the food was excellent. Very tasty and really great value for money, large portions and free prawn crackers with orders of £10! They also have some good 'set meal' menus on offer and the staff were really helpful in advising us when we were choosing. 08-12-08
