Scammers, avoid at all costs - Beware of these guys, they are scammers. I left a laptop to have the cause of overheating investigated and fixed. I told them the laptop was needed quickly. They said they would call later in the week to give me a quote and let me decide whether to proceed. They never called. After 4 weeks, I started contacting them every day and was fobbed off every time. Eventually after week 6, the assistant handed me back the laptop but didn't know if it had been fixed. It hadn't even been opened. I spoke to the owner about a return of my deposit and was told that it was non returnable as they had ordered a part that it needed (even though they agreed to call before anything was done).

To make matters worse, I then took the laptop elsewhere - it was fixed simply by opening and cleaning it. It didn't need a single new part and took around an hour to do.

These guys are scammers. Ignore the office hours they give - the owner will never be there, the assistant doesn't know anything (or does but is playing dumb) and your phone calls will never be returned.

When I asked again for my deposit back, the owner insisted that the assistant had told me a part had been ordered. He didn't - the assistant didn't know anything and often joked about it with me, saying he didn't have a clue what Elliott was doing or where he was. He lied to my face about it without batting an eyelid. He also had the audacity to claim that he HAD telephoned me as agreed and had left me a voicemail message. I don't have voicemail on my phone so he either lied or called the wrong number. He insisted that this was not his problem and that he had kept up his end of the deal by calling me. I do understand that sometimes mistakes happen but I contacted them many many times asking him to call me because I hadn't received the call - he DID know that I hadn't received a message.

Again, scammers. Avoid at all costs!
