Expensive, and for what? - £6.20 for an adult ticket is quite expensive compared to equivalent tickets in Birmingham which can be around £3.50 and give a better experience. For the price, you get a fairly standard theatre with friendly staff, but no features that stand out. You can watch a film here and it will probably be okay.
I went to see a film this Friday and there was a power cut, which fortunately was only during the credits so we didn't miss out on the film itself. However, just two days later I was back in front of the same screen and there was another power cut right in the middle of the film for about 5 minutes. I'd have thought 2 days would have been long enough to fix a power issue in a cinema.
We sometimes drive to the AMC in Birmingham, which is cheaper even with petrol costs included.
