Merry Christmas - Ate here a few weeks ago and persuaded our office to have the Christmas party here! We were not the only party in and were a bit worried that service might be slow, but it was fine! In fact, the other parties added to the atmosphere! The staff were very busy but quite happy to take pictures for us so we could all be in them! Thanks guys, really good start to the festive season!

What a lovely evening! - Some friends booked this restaurant as they had been before and loved it. I read a number of reviews and most were good but a recent one was not - so it was with a little trepidation that we went last weekend! Any fears I had were soon dispelled! The service was very good and the food excellent! A good wine list was complemented by some fine New Zealand Sauvignon at a rather good price! We had a really great evening in a lovely atmosphere and our friends have now booked their office Christmas party there!

Let themselves down badly... - Looks quite appealing from the outside, plenty of contemporary exposed brick and stripped wood, but unfortunately things went downhill from the moment we stepped thru the door. The restaurant was only half full yet service was glacially slow. Having arrived at a few minutes before 8pm our main courses eventually arrived at...half past ten. Unbelievable. We had opted for the two courses set price option and the portions were very small - the goat's cheese tart was about the size of a Jaffa Cake and the fish cakes were tiny with only a coupld of sprigs of salad to bulk them up. The most inexcusable thing was the total failure of the staff to communicate - every restaurant has off nights, but the waiting staff and manager
