COS London Reviews

(not so) Shabby customer service - Since writing this review, I have received a response from Cos (following an email to addresses gleaned from the website), agreeing that the service I received was not great, and offering to put it right. Credit where credit's due!

I bought a handbag from Cos in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago, and the stitching around the zip is unravelling. I took it back today assuming that I would be offered an exchange. Instead I was told that they would have it repaired, which would involve me taking the handbag in, waiting until the repair was done, and then returning to collect it. I am furious that I am expected to shuttle back and forth from the shop, without recompense, when the goods I bought are faulty. And can you find contact details to make a complaint to head office? No! Avoid the place, is my advice.

be careful of their returns policy - My partner bought a chasmere jumper for £89 from their Regents Street store and noticed it had a hole in the arm when he got home. When he took it back a week later they didn't want to know so now we are left with an unworn jumper with a hole... not good!

Simply Cos I like it... - COS (Collection of Style) provides exactly what i want in a fashion store.
It has simple clothes with a twist, good quality fabrics and very acceptable prices.

For womenswear its a cooler ZARA, but without the dull colour pallete. The quality suprising considering its owned by H&M. They have got the right mix of attainable fashion product and brilliant staple pieces. They mix sleek tailoring with a 60s elegant influence, I like it that i can shop here without all the trend influence.

There is a smaller Menswear section, providing a toned down Paul Smith edge, it too has a ZARA feel but i think this is because the styles are simple, no gimmicks and not too trend led.

Great office wardrobe pieces!

I love COS.

Clearly Overtly Stylish - If you are looking for classic clothes with a modern look, COS is the place.

The lines are simple and elegant and can be easily dressed up or down, and most of all, it's not extortionate. A nicely cut thin corduroy jacket with double vents and two buttons will set you back about £100. Trousers are between £40 and £60.

The shirts are great: they actually come in collar sizes, are beautifully finished and are only about £35 or so (with two spare buttons and collar bones which come in a mini pouch made of the same fabric attached!). They are slim-fitting and feel great on.

Their focus on quality at affordable prices is just what they offer -- this is a far cry from H&M who owns the chain.

Coats are about £150, jumpers about £60. This is really a great place to shop, especially for men -- I think there is a big shortage of mid-priced, simple and stylish men's shops in London and COS definitly fills that gap (think upmarket Zara at similar prices but more stylish and better quality by far!)
