Where's my toast? - I've only been here once and just for a breakfast meeting and it was just okay.

It's in the newly opened Haymarket Hotel, which is a gorgeous boutique hotel from the same owner as the Soho, Covent Garden and Charlotte Street hotels, so you get amazing style in a funky surrounding.

Yet it's one of those hotel restaurants where there are too many waitstaff so they end up botching service up b/c they are all handling every table. You ask one person and they forget, so you ask another and they forget. That was the pattern of my experience there. My colleague had to ask for a cup of tea several times and the toast I ordered with my omlette came after asking 5 times and after my meal was done. I also asked for a decaf latte and clearly they gave me caffeinated as I felt buzzy for the next few hours and had bad stomach issues. So not only do they not respond, they also don't listen.

The food is good there though and the breakfast is a wide range of everything with fresh ingredients and extremely healthy.

Don't think I'll be going back to Brumus for breakfast anytime soon or until I read another review that they've improved their service.
