similar aggressive experience .. - went in to buy a drift wood mirror, committed to spend £80, looked at a few which the guy who runs the shop showed me and talked to me about - settled on one I wanted again offered £80 and asked for oiling and hanging as part of the price and was subsequently in no nice term to "never come back to his shop again". weird. and very rude. surprising as with a little more knack at battering he would have made a good sale. short temper and quite frankly pleased that I had a true show of his character before he came anywhere near my house!

Aggressive service! - I was astounded by the service I received in this shop today. A Sunday afternoon meant that the owner was out of the shop so left his mobile number in the window. I called it and he returned from the sauna he had been relaxinging in to serve me. I was looking for a vase. I chose one and as I held it the top broke in my hand. Clearly a fault in the vase, I did not break it so I did not offer to pay for it. There were no others of the shape I wanted so I chose not to buy anything. I politely said I "I will look elsewhere for the shape I want and will come back if I can't find one" he very sharply responded " yeah sure you will and thanks for the £20 damage". I was already quite shocked at his tone but carried on down into Kemp town. My phone then beeped and I recieved a text message ( he had my number from me calling him to open the shop) which read "Please don't ever come in my shop again you are a couple of rude, skint, scruffy c....ts!"
If that is the kind of service you enjoy then Silver is the place for you.
