When it comes to Vietnamese most people head straight for Kingsland Road and few people will agree on their favorite.
To me however the best Vietnamese is actually situated round the corner on Old St.
Like its Kingsland Road counterparts its decor is unassuming and functional. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt.
The menu is pretty standard but I will say I've eaten at pretty much all of the Vietnamese in this area and at Cay Tre they have the best Won Tons and Summer (fresh) Rolls out of the lot.
Quick. Cheap. Good.
