Prezzo will never be the hippest kid on the block, but this comfortable, clean and sensible Italian eatery, slightly strangely decorated in an ode to older English times, is a nice, reliable, go-to place. With plenty of good salads, pizzas, pastas and meat dishes to choose from, as well as some great appetizers -- try the caramelized onion pizza -- this is a good choice for a chilly evening.
The restaurant also caters to larger parties, with a long table often created down the center of the restaurant, and birthday or girls' night out celebrators often hanging balloons from the rafters.
The service is also friendly and quick, and it's on a nice, quiet corner, away from the noise of Piccadilly, though only about a block in.
